The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) supported three national organizations – the Center for Sex Offender Management (CSOM), the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), and the Resource Sharing Project (RSP) – to partner on a novel initiative to provide training and technical assistance to enhance probation responses to cases involving sexual assault. This project promoted well-informed, victim-centered probation responses within the context of a comprehensive approach to sex offender management through on-site training, technical assistance, written resources, and webinars.
